What Will I Learn?
Today, five faculties fulfill this promise with a wide range of 2-year courses and degrees. First, the Army is trying to change the entire LPN classification from 91WM6 to another MOS classification (I remember when Mike 6 was 91Charlies).
I forgot, I don't really care. Second, you will need PHTLS and EMT to be fully 91WM6 qualified, otherwise you will be identified as a "Y2" or non-MOS qualified Soldier. You might end up being an 88Mike (truck driver) instead of a superhero doctor/nurse if you don't graduate by 2007 (rumor...rumor).

Part of the Post-9/11 Veterans Educational Assistance Act of 2008, this program allows colleges and universities to enter into an agreement between the VA for equal contributions (50-50) to fund tuition and fees. Students may be non-residents or residents of the country in which they are enrolled.

HA! If you WANT to sign up as a medical technician, there is a great program called air evac. It is a department of the med tech program. You go to boarding school and you're basically an LVN on an airplane.
I wish I knew about it too! This is a program not available to those enrolled in the post-9/11 GI Bill, and not all colleges are active participants in this program. The Co-op training program allows you to study and at the same time gain work experience in the field of study you are looking for.
